Guidelines for abstract submissions

The deadline will be on September 30^th, 2022.

The abstract is to be sent via the "Submission" tab in the navigation menu. Please provide the necessary informations in the form and subscribe to the event (subscription is mandatory)!!

The abstract must be written in English.

The abstract is limited to 300 words.

The abstract cannot contain any figure.

The abstract may follow the following plan:

• Introduction
• Methods
• Results
• Conclusion

Accepted abstract will be published in the book of abstracts and be available on this site; in case you do not want your abstract to appear online, please inform us by mail at contact.ediss@gmail.com.

Presentation format

Presentations will be performed in the different rooms available.

Oral presentations

The presentation maximum duration is 10 minutes; it will be followed by a 5 minute questions/answers session.

The slides must be written in English; the speech can be in English or French.

Please send your slides as a PDF file before the October 31^st, 2022.

Slides must be numbered.

Posters

• The presentation maximum duration is 5 minutes; it will be followed by a 5-minute questions/answers session.
• The poster must be written in English; the speech can be in English or French.
• Posters must be printed (A0 portrait) in order to be hang on to the grids provided for this purpose.

This year, the oral communication and poster sessions will mix the different theme of EDISS. A minimum of popularizing science might be a positive point. Each session will give you the opportunity to win a prize. The award ceremony will take place at the end of the day, based on the rank given by the jury for each session. If the winner of a session has left the JEDISS before the award was received, this person will be removed from the first place (and will not receive any prize) and the person below on the list will be desiganted as the winner of the session.
